                                  "Coming Again                 December, 2020

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I trust that all is well with you and yours.

I know it has been a difficult year for many people. God's grace is still sufficient for those who trust him. This month we celebrate the first coming of Jesus. He came as a little baby and of humble beginnings. Even though he was the Son of God he experienced the hardships of life just like other human beings. Therefore, being our high priest he is able to identify with our weakness and suffering. (Hebrews 4:15).  Just as Jesus came once to suffer and die for our sins, he will once again come back to catch away all of those who have believed on him. (I Thessalonians 4:13-18). He will come back at the last trump and those believers who are alive will be changed in a moment in the twinkling of a eye. (I Corinthians 15:51-52). The best Christmas gift of all would be for Jesus to come and take us to our home in heaven this Christmas. "Heaven is sounding sweeter all the time." JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!" The Jewish holiday of Hanukkah comes on the 11th of December. This is the feast of dedication. Winter begins on the 21st of December and of course Christmas comes on the 25th of December.

Bye for now and my you and yours have a "Merry Christmas" and a "Happy New Year!" May the joy and peace of Christmas fill you hearts.

                                 "Thanksgiving"                     November, 2020

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I trust that all is well with you and yours. May the Lord watch over you and yours through this pandemic.

November the 3rd is Election Day. The 11th of this month is Veteran's Day. The 26th is Thanksgiving. This is a special time of the year to reflect on the blessings we have received during the year and to give thanks to God for these blessings. It is a special time to  gather together with family and friends. It is a time to get reacquainted  with one another as we all sit down to a well prepared meal. Having friends and family is one of life's greatest blessings. No one should be sitting at home alone on Thanksgiving. If the situation demands that you be alone, remember that Jesus promised that he would always be with  you. (Matt. 28:20). I pray that everyone would feel the presence of Christ during this Thanksgiving  Holiday. Let us stop complaining about what we don't have and give God thanks for what we do have. Let us give thanks to God for his Son Jesus Christ who redeemed us with his precious blood. Give God thanks for the gift of eternal life and for the promise of His coming to take his church to be his bride. These gifts are far greater than anything this world could offer. As believers, we have much to give God thanks for. When this world is falling apart, remember that we belong to a kingdom that will last forever, where there is joy, peace, and happiness forevermore.

Bye for now and a Happy and joyous Thanksgiving to all!

July, 2020

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. The summer months are upon us and we are seeing hot and humid conditions, weather wise. Happy Birthday to my sister Joyce whose birthday is on July 4th, the same as Independence Day!

There are many difficulties and trials that the world is experiencing currently. It appears that the world, as a whole, is reaping what has been sown in the last few  decades.Sin has deadly consequences. We cannot escape what we have sown.  For God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap. (Galatians 6:7). If we truly repent God will forgive us of our sins, but we cannot escape the consequences of sin. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the spirit shall of the spirit reap life everlasting. (Galatians 6:8). The law of sowing and reaping is that we always reap more than we sow. If enough people repent, God can and will heal our nation and our world. We must recognize and confess our sins and when we do "God is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (I John 1:9)."And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith." (Galatians 6:9-10). If we sow seeds of righteousness we can look forward to a day of rejoicing, knowing that we will reap blessings not only in this life but in the life to come.

Bye for now, and may you have a happy and blessed month of July. Jesus never fails!

"God's Word Is Truth - The Only Truth"

July, 2020

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I trust that all is well with you and yours. May the peace of God be with each and everyone of you through this time of turmoil in our nation. It seems as if you do not know who you can trust anymore. Lying and deceiving seems to be the norm these day. Jesus and the Apostles warned us that this time was coming. People are afraid to take vaccinations for the corona virus. People are afraid to be checked for the virus. Conspiracy theories are prevalent these days. It's hard to trust the government, the medical profession and the world Health Organizations.

One thing that we can always trust to be true is God's Word. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. (John 14:6). Let God be true, but every man a liar. (Romans 3:4). The Devil tries every way he can to discredit
God's word, but in the end God's word will prevail. Jesus said: Heaven and earth may pass away, but my word will never pass away. (Luke 21:33). (Mark 13:31; Matt. 24:35). Jesus said: Satan is a liar and the author or father of it. Satan is the source and the spirit of all lying and deceiving. (John 8:44).

Jesus is on the verge of coming back and only those who have believed and trusted his word will be able to go with Jesus at his coming. "Trust and obey for there's no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey." (Hymn). No matter what men may say, trust and believe in God's Word. The words of Christ are t he words of eternal life. (John 6:68; l John 1:1-2). Heaven and earth may soon pass away, but those who have put their trust in the word of life, (which is Jesus), will live forever. Fear not, for Jesus has promised never to leave us or forsake us. He has also promised that he is coming back for us. (Matt. 28:20; John 14:3).

Bye for now and God bless and keep each one as we trust his word.

"Angels Unawares"

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I trust that all is well with you and yours. May the Lord shelter you and yours during this time as the Corona virus is affecting the lives of so many people. We are now in the month of May and things are looking beautiful outside as trees, flowers and grass are flourishing. The picture is not so pretty in relationship to what is happening in our nation and in our world. Many people are frightened and stressed out about health and finances. We must not forget that Jesus promised us that he would never leave us nor forsake us. Through difficult times God sends his angels to help and comfort us. We are not always aware that God and his angels are ever present with us. Jesus was comforted and encouraged by angels while he was here on this earth while robed in the flesh of mankind. After Jesus was tempted of the devil after a 40 day fast in the wilderness, angels came and ministered unto him. (Matt. 4:11). On the Mount of Transfiguration Moses and Elijah came and talked with him. (Matt. 17:4) Moses and Elijah talked with Jesus about his mission to go to Jerusalem and die for the sins of the world. They were encouraging him. (Luke 9:30-31) While Jesus was praying in the garden just prior to his arrest, and angel appeared unto him from heaven and strengthened him. (Luke 22:43). An angel of the Lord came by night and opened the prison doors and brought forth the apostles who had been arrested and imprisoned. (Acts 5:19). Philip was commissioned by an angel to go and witness to the Ethiopian eunuch who was the treasurer for the queen of the Ethiopians. (Acts 8:26). An angel appeared to Cornelius and told him to send for Peter and that Peter would tell him what to do. (Acts 10:3-7; 22). An angel of God came and released Peter from prison. (Acts 12:7;11) An angel of God came and encouraged the Apostle Paul while on his way to Rome. (Acts 27:23). Many other people, even today, have been and are being visited, helped and encouraged by angels today.

I personally have been helped and encouraged by an angel at least two times. The scripture tells us that we are not to be forgetful to entertain strangers: for some have entertained angels unaware. (Hebrews 13:2). (Hebrews 1:13-14) tells us that angels are ministering spirits sent forth to minister to those who shall be heirs of Salvation. Thank God! That refers to you and me and all of those who have professed Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Many others in the Bible were visited by angel,s, such as Mary, Zechariah, Joseph and the shepherds. Jesus said, "Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven." (Matt 18:10). "There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh they dwelling. (11) For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways." (Psalm 91:10-11).

Know that eh Lord is always watching over those who trust in him.

Bye for now and may God bless you and keep you and may always the angels of the Lord encamp around about you and yours.

                                                               "A Shelter From The Storm"

APRIL, 2020                                                                                                         Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray that all is well with you and yours, Spiritually, physically and financially

During this time we are faced with a disease that is running rampant throughout the world. It could be likened to a storm or as our president has stated: it is a war against Covid - 19, or the corona virus. There are many kinds of storms and wars. There can be financial wars, or financial storms, physical storms, emotional and psychological storms. As I mentioned, it can be a storm or a war or even both. It can be a war with the government, national or local. War with other nations, with family members, feuding in and among families. Even churches are not immune to warring. We must search scripture and pray that God will show us a way to be safe from the storm and to win the battles we may have to fight. Isaiah 4:6, "and the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of flaming fire by night:  for upon all the glory shall be "defense." (6) And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of "refuge" and for a covert from "storm" and from rain. God has a covering for his people and a strong defense just as he did when he was bringing the children of Israel out of Egypt's land. God said to Pharaoh through Moses, "I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, (this is where the children of Israel lived)," In which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the Lord in the midst of the earth. And I will put a division between my people and thy people: tomorrow shall this sign
be." (Exodus 8:22-23) King David said: "The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life of whom shall I be afraid. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me in this will I be confident. (Psalm 27:1, 2; Psalm 107:28-29). God maketh the storm a calm and brings us to our desired haven when we cry unto the Lord. (Psalm 91:2-6), "I will say of the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress: my God in him will I trust." David goes on to say that God will deliver us from the traps of the enemy, from the pestilence, he will be our shield and buckler, protecting us front and back. He will deliver us from the terror by night and the arrows that fly by day and the pestilence that comes in darkness and the destruction that destroys at noon day. Others my fall but God will hold up those who put their trust in the Lord.       One of the things that the media is not reporting is that many of the people who are surviving the coronavirus state that many prayers were going up for them. God still heals today! Sometimes God has to send a storm our way in order to make us realize that we need him. "For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in His distress, a refuge from the storm , amd a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. (Isaiah 25:4).
Remember that Jesus came to his disciples when they were caught in a storm and was close to perishing. He came walking on the water, through the wind, the waves and the rain. (John 6:19). He will come to you also and he will be a shelter from the storm and from the distresses of life. Peter walked on the water as long as he kept his eyes on Jesus. Don't look at the storm but look to the one who can calm the storm. His name is Jesus Christ who has his way in the wind and in the waves. Jesus wants to calm your storm and give you peace. Take courage then oh fainting heart, for you he will make a way.
Bye until next time and my you be assured that God will keep you in his care.

March                                    2020

March is here and it serves to remind us that "time" is quickly marching on.  Jesus said in (Mathew 24:22) that time would be shortened.  In the Greek language the word is Kolas, which means to curtail.  The word "Koloboo" in Greek means to dock, abridge or to shorten.  Jesus is telling us that some things are going to be put on hold or suspended so as to save the elect.  This tells us that the Lord considers saving his people more important than other things.  Seeing this is the case, the Salvation of God's children is being expedited. This is his main concern so he turns his main attention to this purpose.  Seeing this is true we should turn our attention to the Salvation of Souls as well.  The "elect" that Jesus is referring to is his chosen ones.  The Greek word for elect is "Ekiektos" which means select, favorite or chosen.  As a child of God we are his favorites.  He smiles upon us.  We are the apple of his eye.  We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, who are called out of darkness and into his glorious light that we might show forth the praises of him who has called us. (I Peter 2:9).

As we look around us we see all the signs of the end times.  Jesus said that when we see these things happening we are to look up for our redemption draweth nigh, or near. (Luke 21:28). "So likewise ye, when ye see all these things, know that it is near, even at the door." (Matthew 24:33).

Remember that you are chosen because you have accepted God's gift of Salvation through his Son Jesus Christ.  You are chosen to praise God.  Chosen to have eternal life.  Chosen to be loved of God.  Chosen to live with God in a place called heaven.  Chosen to be the Bride of Christ and a joint heir with Christ.

Seeing that you are so highly savored, why should you be sad or discouraged?  Wherefore, lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees and make straight paths for your feet,...(Hebrews 12:12-13).

Bye for now and God bless you and keep you as we anticipate the soon return of our precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Facing the New Year

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

My prayer is for you and yours to be well and in good spirits.

We are now starting a New Year! 2020 seems as if it's futuristic. In a sense we are in a futuristic era. Advances in science and technology and in medicine is escalating on a daily measure. These all speak of the end times."....many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase. (Daniel 12:4). There are millions of people traveling by car, train and airplane and many other means of transportation every day. Knowledge has increased beyond what most people can imagine. What does all of this do with us facing a New Year? To me, it means that we must not let our lives be consumed by self interests, We must be about the Lord's interests.

Many people make resolutions at the beginning of a new year, but few follow through with their resolutions. If we expect things to be different, then we must make some changes. If we remain in a rut nothing will change. The outcome will be the same for the coming year. Many of us fail to listen to the Lord when he speaks to us about a change in our ways or direction. Sometimes, God has to create a catastrophic event to force us out of the rut. The Lord may dry up finances, take away health and our resources in an effort to move us in a new direction. We have a tendency to blame the devil for a situation or someone else when it may be our fault for not listening and obeying the voice of the Lord. Moses thought he was all washed up, so to speak, when he had to flee Egypt, but it was all a part of God's plan to prepare Moses to lead Israel out of bondage. Jacob had to flee for his life when he found out his brother Esau intended to kill him, but it was all apart of God's plan. Joseph was sold by his brothers to be a slave, but it was all a part of God's plan. When God speaks to you about a change in direction, don't be afraid of the change. God will be with you to cause you to prosper in whatever God leads you into. Just keep in mind that our time here on earth is short and he wants us to make the most of it. Jesus is coming soon. He's coming for those who are looking for him and doing what he said to do, that is his will for us. Matt.7:11). Start off by thanking him for what he did for you in 2019 and then thank him for what he is going to do for you in 2020. Don't be afraid! Don't doubt! Be courageous, as he builds you faith to face a new year with him. Trust him. The Lord will see you through. (Psalms 37:3-6). God Bless you and yours with a new bountiful New year. Bye for now. Pastor L. M. Whitehead

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I trust all is well with you and yours!

This month is a very special month for all believing Christians. "For God so loved the World that he gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16).

What the first Adam could not do the second Adam, the new Adam was able to accomplish. The first Adam fell prey to sin, bringing the penalty of death upon all mankind ( Cornt. 15:21-22). The second Adam (Jesus Christ) resisted and overcame temptation. Jesus was tempted in all points as we were, but without sin. (Heb. 4:15). " The fist Adam was made a living soul, the last Adam was made a quickening Spirit." (I Corint. 15:45). The word quickening means "Life giving." Jesus Christ overcame death, hell and the grave for all who believe on him.(Rev. 1:18; I Corint. 15:55; Hosea 13:14). Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, was robed in flesh, was "Emmanuel" God in the flesh and laid down his fleshly body as a sacrifice for sin. He Redeemed us with his precious blood, was raised the third day for our justification and is now seated on the right hand of God the Father to make intercession for the saints daily. Just as Jesus came in the form of mankind as a baby, born in a manger, he will in the very near future come back as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Jesus Christ is coming for all true believers that we may be where he is. (John 14:3). Praise the Lord! Hosanna to the King! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna means"Save us oh Lord".

Bye for now and may everyone of you have a blessed, and joyous and Merry Christmas. Remember; Jesus is the reason for the season.

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! It's my prayer that all is well with you and yours.

We are now moving into the holiday season. Thanksgiving is always a special time for families to come together and to jointly give thanks for all of God's blessings. In our Bible study at church we have just covered (1 Corinthians 13). As you may well know this is called the love Chapter. Love is not just a word, true love implies we do something and calls for action on our part. God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son. (John 3;16). God gave what he loved most. The most precious thing that God had with him was his Son. How can we honor God the Father? We can honor him and thank him by accepting God's sacrifice for sin by believing in his Son and obeying his Son (Jesus Christ). Jesus said,if you love me keep my Commandments. (John 14:15,21). Our proof of love is seen in keeping the Commandments of our Lord and Savior. God showed his love in giving and he gave his best. We show our love to God and our thanks to God by giving, also. So often we focus on the word "Thanks" and neglect the word " Giving". Jesus said, where your treasure is there will your heart be also. (Matthew 6:21). Those who say they love God, but give to the work of the Lord nothing are those who honor the Lord with their lips, but their heart is far from him. (Isaiah 29:13).

Let us celebrate this Thanks-Giving by not only giving thanks with our lips, but also with our finances and blessings he has given to us.

Bye for now and may you and yours have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving.

"The Unchanging God"

October, 2019

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! It is my prayer that all is well with you and yours.

September has been a dry and hot month for much of Texas, except for the areas south around the Houston area and Eastward. Hopefully, October will bring some rain and cooler temperatures.

Yom Kippur comes on the ninth of October. Columbus Day is on the 14th, United Nations Day is on the 24th and Halloween is on the 31th, but don't forget your Pastor and the laymen of the church because this is Pastor appreciation month.

The older we get the more we realize that things are rapidly changing. We see trends change, styles change, weather changes, government change and churches change as well as many other things change. The only thing that doesn't change is the all Mighty God who created the Heavens and the Earth. (Isaiah 34:4) "States that the host of heaven shall be dissolved and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll and all their host shall fall down..." (Revelation 6:14) "States that the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together." The Creation may change, but the Creator changes not.

A disturbing thing is happening in and among some churches. Some preachers and teachers are telling their members that we New Testament Christians do not have to keep the Ten Commandments. This is a false teaching in the church. God has never changed his mind about what's right and wrong. If God changed his mind about what is morally and ethically right, then God would be unpredictable and fickle and unreliable. God has never changed his mind about killing, adultery, stealing, lying or coveting or honoring one's father and mother. A couple came to my church a few months ago and stated that they had been going to a church where the pastor told them that it was alright to live together even though they were not married. He told them that we don't have to abide by the Ten Commandments anymore.

The yong rich ruler in (Matthew 19:16-19) asked Jesus what he must do to have eternal life and Jesus answered, keep the commandments, namely do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal or bear false witness and Honor your father and mother. In (Mark 7:6-13) Jesus upbraids the Pharisees and scribes for laying aside the Commandments of God and teaching tradition instead of the

Commandments. Jesus stated that he had not come to do away with the law but to fulfill it. Jesus said that whosoever shall break one of the least of God's commands and teach others to do so would be the least in the kingdom of heaven, but those who keep the commandments and teach others to do so would be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:17-19).

Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8). Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." (James 1:17). In other words, there is not even the slightest change in God and in what He stands for. God is holy and pure and just and he expects us to follow his example

The two greatest Commandments are first to love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind and with all thy strength. And the second is to love thy neighbor as thyself and upon these two commandments hinge all the law and the prophets and there is none other commandment greater than these. (Mark 12:29-31).

Jesus said if you love me keep my commandments and my commandments are the same as my

Father's (John 14:15; 21:23-24).

Bye for now and my God bless you according to his precious word.

"A Steadfast Hope"

Pastor's Pen

September, 2019

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I trust that all is well with you and yours. God is an all sufficient God and He is able to meet all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Phill. 4:19).

The month of August turned out to be a hot month after all. This makes us look forward to the fall of the year and cooler temperatures. September the 2nd is Labor Day. The 11th is Patriot's Day. Autumn begins on the 22nd of September. The Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah is on the 30th of September.

In the fall of the year things seem to start dying. But when spring comes around everything seems to come alive. This reminds us of the fact that life is short here on this earth but God has promised a new life for those who will receive Jesus Christ who is the way, the truth and the Life. (John 14:6). Without Christ there is no real hope for the future. It is sad that many people despair of life because they do not have this hope that only Christ can provide. The Holy Bible is a road map and guide for life. The believer knows where he or she is going. Our future is bright and we can rejoice and be glad for what Christ has made possible for us. Jesus has promised to give life and to give life more abundantly. (John 10:10).

The Gospel is good news. We don't have to despair of life or to live a life of gloom, plagued by feelings of guilt and sin. There is forgiveness and there is peace through our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself as a sacrifice for our sins. There is no reason to give up or to lose hope. Jesus is the anchor of the soul. The anchor holds and gripes the solid rock. (Heb. 6:19). It is steadfast and sure bringing us into the Holy of Holies, into the presence of Almighty God, who wipes the tears from our eyes and drives away all our fears and gives us a Peace that passes all understanding. (Phill. 4:7). And this peace will keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

May the light of God and the love of God and the peace of God shine upon you and yours today.

God bless you and yours.

Bye for now.

"The All Sufficient God"

Aug, 2019

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I trust that all is well with you and yours. May God truly pour out his blessings on you and your household. God is both "El Shaddi," and "Jehova Jirah." (Genesis 22:14). He is the God who blesses us and gives grace to us and provides for us. He is God Almighty, ruler and judge. He is "Adonia" Soverign Controller, He is Elohim, creator of the Heavens and Earth. His is Jehovah Raphah, the Lord our healer. (Exo. 15. 26).

It was revealed to Moses that God was I Am that I Am. In the original Hebrew it is the letters YHWH. You could not pronounce this for it has no vowels. The priest and Jewish Rabbis added the vowels, "A" and "E" making it pronounceable, as Yahweh. Most of the common people would not pronounce this name for fear that God would definitely come to you if you spoke his name. God would either come with a blessing or in judgment. Seeing that most people knew they were sinful, believed God would come in judgment rather than with a blessing The name "Yahweh" literally means, I Am that which comes into existence. When the children of Israel were in the wilderness God was to them whatever they needed. If it was not there for them, God brought it into existence. When they needed food, God sent manna, when they were thirsty, God brought water even out of a rock. When they were cold, God was a pillar of fire. When they were hot, God was a cloud by day. When they needed healing, God was Jehovah Rapha, their healer. God reveled himself to Abraham as his shield or protector and exceeding great reward. (Gen. 15:1). God protected the children of Israel from all their enemies. (Joshua 1:3-7).

God is whatever you need him to be. You may not see it with your natural eyes, but God speaks into existence that which was not seen previously by the natural eye. Jesus said only believe, for all things are possible to those who believe. (Mark 9:23). The Apostle Paul stated that my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Phill. 4:19). God is no respecter of persons. Wherever there is faith, God honors it. But without faith it is impossible to please God; for he that cometh to God must believe that his "God" is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." (Heb. 11:6).

Now we have been given a name whereby we can approach God with confidence; knowing that if we ask anything in the name of Jesus Christ that God will do it for us. Thank God for this wonderful name of Jesus Christ. God bless you in believing and may your faith be increased daily. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing, by the Word of God. (Romans 10:17).

Bye for now and God bless each one until next time.

"The Benefits of a Righteous Nation"

July 2019

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! It is my prayer that all is well with you and yours.

July is here and the temps. are rising. We should be thankful for all of the rain we have received this year along with some cooler temperatures. The trees, flowers and vegetables have flourished this year.

July the 4th is the celebration of our Country's Independence. We should thank God for our freedom that we have enjoyed for so long. Sad to say, we are losing many of our freedoms and we are in jeopardy of losing many more of our freedoms. All of those who cherish our freedoms should get politically motivated and encourage others to do the same. We must all get involved in order to save our nation. There are those who advocate and promote sin. Politicians and judges have promoted and passed laws to legalize sinful practices and lifestyles. To some this is freedom for all, but is it really? Look at what the bible says about these practices and lifestyles. " Righteousness exalteth a nation but sin is a reproach to any people". (Proverbs 14:34). "Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees and that write grievousness which they have prescribed." (Isaiah 10:1). After 911 many people were praying for a few days for our nation but only the prayers of the righteous are heard by God. Sinners who haven't repented of their sins and turned away from sinning have no access to the throne of Grace and their prayers are not received are heard by God. The prayers of the unrighteous are an abomination unto him.1 Peter 3:12, John 9:31, Proverbs 15:8, Isaiah 1:15, Proverbs 1:28-29, Proverbs 21:27 and Proverbs 28:9.

"He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be an abomination."(Proverbs 28:9). Our nation must repent and it must begin in the house of the Lord. (1 Peter 4:17, 2nd Chronicles 7:14). When the church gets right with God the Nation will get right and it will be blessed. Our country will be protected by the Lord and we will be truly a free nation under God. " Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it, except the Lord keep the city(or nation) the watchman waketh but in vain.' (Psalms 127:1).

Bye for now. Have a blessed Fourth of July and I would like to wish my sister Joyce happy birthday who was born on the July the 4th.

"The Marriage of the Lamb"

pastors pen                                            June 2019

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I pray all is well with you and yours.

We are drawing nearer and nearer to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ every day.(Romans 13:11). We must not slumber or sleep, spiritually, we must not procrastinate when it comes to the lord and his work.

June is the month noted for marriages. My wife and i were married on June the 11th, 52 years ago. Come this June I'm looking forward to the Greatest of all marriages when the church will be married to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Blessed are they that are called to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. (Rev. 19:7-9).

June 14th is Flag Day, the 16th is Father's Day. Summer officially begins on the 21st.

Fathers should set the right example by being in God's house on Father's Day. Fathers are to be the spiritual leaders of their home and family. Fathers cannot fulfill God's will for their lives by staying at home on the Lord's Day. (Hebrews 10:25). God has placed in the church, not in your home or house, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers for the perfecting of the saints,(Eph. 4:11). It is also for the work of the ministry and for the edifying of the body of Christ, which also is the church. Every believer has the responsibility to come to God's house and help to edify and support the body of Christ which is the church which Jesus love and gave himself for it.(Eph. 5:25).

The astrological sign for June is Gemini: The Twin Brothers, Castor and Pollux. These twins were heroes in Greek legend. The major stars in their constellation are: Pollux- Ruler and Judge, Alhena- Hurt, Wounded, Affected, Wasat- Set, Seated, Put in Place. The Decans are Lepus- The Enemy Trodden Under Foot, Canis Major- Sirus, The Faithful Prince, and Canis Minor- The Second Dog, The Faithful Caleb Company.

Gemini is an image of two figures, one holding a club, and the other holding a harp in one hand and an bow and arrow in the other hand. The Latins called them Castor and Pollux as seen in Acts 28:11 where Paul talks about the Alexandrian ship with the figureheads of Castor and Pollux . These became two patron deities of sailors and voyagers. The Greeks called them Apollo and Hercules. The two twin brothers were said to be the son's of Zeus. The Egyptians saw them as man and woman. This is represented in scripture as the union between Christ and his Church. (Eph. 5:31-32). Comparing the husband and wife relationship to Christ and his Church. Christ will come back one day to get his bride even though it may be in the time of persecution, yet he will come and snatch her away and come back later to punish her persecuters.

The name June was derived from the Roman goddess Juno. It possibly is derived from a Roman clan called Junis. The month of June was dedicated to long life and the month of may was dedicated to youth, according to the Romans. The word Zodiac literally means, a circle of animals. It is an imaginary belt in space. May you and yours have a long life and be always abounding in the truth in love toward god and others as well.

Bye for now and God bless you and yours now and forever.

"Jesus Christ the Judge of all the Earth"

pastors pen                                            May 2019

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

May the 12th is "Mothers Day". I want to take this opportunity to wish all the Mothers a Happy and Blessed Mothers Day. May the 27th is Memorial Day. This serves to keep alive the memory of a person or event. In this case we usually celebrate the memory of the men and women that died in the war. Hebrews Chapter 11 is God's celebration of the memory of God's servants who dedicated their lives to serving the God of the bible. It's God's Hall of Fame. These were all approved of God by their Faith. Many of the Great men and women of faith have laid down their lives for the cause of Christ. It is sad to say, but many Christians are still paying the ultimate price for serving the Lord in many parts of our world today. They should never be forgotten.

The astrological sign for May is Taurus or the Ox. The sign in the heavens is that of an Ox, or bull, rushing forward with mighty energy and fierce and wrath; his horns are to push his enemies and pierce them through to destroy them. In Hebrew this constellation is called Shur, which means the "Ruler".

There are three decans in this constellation. The first is Orion. In Greek mythology Orion is seen as a giant and a great hunter, but in Hebrew he is Known as the "Dayspring" or the dawning: Jesus is spoken of as the light of the world and as the " Son of Righteousness". (Job 8:12 &9:5, Malachi 4:2,3.

The picture is that of a man holding a lion's head in one hand and a club in the other. his left foot crushing the heel of Lepus the rabbit, and a stream of fire flowing from that foot. The head he is crushing with the club is the head of satan. This is fulfillment of(Genesis 3:15).

The second decan is Eridanus meaning "The River of the Judge". This is a river of fire that flows from the foot of Orion or the Dayspring and consumes Cetus, the sea monster. (See Daniel 7:9-11&Psalms 50:3;97:3 II Thess. 1:7-8).

The third decan is Auriga meaning "The Shepherd". Jesus is referred to as the Great Shepherd in both the Old and New Testaments. (Isaiah 40:10-11; John 10:11-14).

The constellation of Taurus tells the story of the congregation of the Judge (Taurus) that shall spread the gospel and gather the believers. They do this to await the judge, the one called the "dayspring". When the judge comes he will desroy the wicked by fire(Eridanus), and gather his flock to Himself(The Shepherd).

Bye for now and may the Lord be near you each and every day.

pastor's pen                                             April 2019

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I trust and pray that all is well with you and yours. April is a beautiful month as trees bloom, grass greens, and trees leaf out with moderate temperatures that set in. Everything seems to be coming to life which reminds me of the Resurrection of Jesus and the resurrection that will take place at the coming of the Lord for his church. (I Thess. 4:13-18). Palm Sunday comes on the 14th of April, Good Friday is on the 19th, First Day of Passover is on the 20th, and Easter is on the 21st.

Jesus stated that as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of Man.(Matt.24:37-39). I recently preached a sermon on this subject. In this sermon i revealed numerous things that have just recently came to light that shows clearly that we are in that time period that Jesus spoke of. Those who would like a copy of the sermon can call or write for a free copy of the sermon on DVD. Every true christian should be looking forward to celebrating Resurrection Sunday and anticipating the soon return of our Lord and Savior especially the resurrection of the saints.

The Astrological sign for April is Aries the Ram (the Lamb). The Hebrews called this constellation "Taleh" which means the Lamb. The Romans changed the sign to a ram because they thought the ram to be a much more noble animal than a lamb. Yet the original sign is that of a lamb which represents Jesus Christ. (John 1;29; John 1:35-36; Rev. 5:9, 5:12).

The three decans are Cassiopeia-the Enthroned Woman. The Hebrew word for this decan is "schedir" which means, the freed. The woman is the church which Christ sets free from the grip of Satan and comes to take her as his wife and she sets with Jesus on thrones reigning with him. (Rev. 3:21). (Isaiah 54: 5-8; Rev. 19:7).

Cetus- the sea monster is the second decan. This represents Satan(the devil). When Jesus comes back he will bind Satan and cast him in the bottomless pit and put a seal on it and Satan will be bound for a thousand years. At the end of time Christ will destroy him in the lake of fire. (Isaiah 27:1 Rev. 20:1-4;20:10).

The third decan is Perseus-(the breaker). In Hebrew it is called Peretz which means the breaker. Perseus holds in his right hand a " sore and great and strong sword". With it he will smite and break down his enemies. (Micah 2:13). He has wings as his feet and is the angel ascending from the east having the seal of the living God.(Rev. 7:2). He (perseus) is seen breaking the chain that binds Andromeda (the chained woman). It is Jesus that sets free the church and the nation of Israel. Perseus holds in his left hand the head of Medusa so called by Greeks but in Hebrew it is called Rosh Satan. This is the fulfillment of the prophecy given in (Genesis 3:15). Jesus comes to break the chains of Hell and death and set Cassiopeia free from the sea monster Cetus which represents Satan. The breaker is Perseus which is Christ. He that the Son sets free shall be free indeed. (John 8:36). Thank God i'm free!

Bye for now. Have a Great celebration on the 21st as we celebrate Christ's victory over death, Hell and the Grave.

"Chains are Broken by the Lamb Of God"

pastor's pen                                               March 2019

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God is Great and Greatly to be Praised. (Psalms 14:3)

March is coming in like a lion and hopefully it will go out like a lamb. I'm personally looking forward to some pleasant weather and temperatures. March 16 is Ash Wednesday, March 10 is the beginning of daylight savings times. The 17th is St. Patrick's Day. The 20th is the first day of spring. The 21st is the Jewish holiday called Purim.

This is the story of Esther and her uncle Mordecai who saved the Jews from being destroyed during the Persian reign.

For those who are interested in the Hebrew meaning of the Zodiac, the sign for March is Pisces -The Two Fishes. The Hebrew name of this constellation is Dagim, the fishes. (Numbers 24:7) Balaam prophesied that the seed of Israel would be in many waters, suggesting that they would become a multitude as the fishes in the sea. As i have mentioned earlier the Christians were symbolized by the sign of the fish in the New Testament. Some of the first apostles Jesus chose were fisherman. The picture is that of two fishes tied together by a band. One is facing north the other south. The symbolism represents the ten northern tribes of Israel and the two southern tribes of Judah and Benjamin. The southern tribes returned to Palestine after captivity but the northern tribes followed the north star and became the ten lost tribes of Israel. There are three decans in this constellation, Alrisha-the Band, Andromeda- the chained woman. Cephus- the crowned King. Alrisha- the band is what holds the two fishes together yet the band is also tied to Cetus, the sea monster representing Satan. Aries is the ram, but in Hebrew the lamb which represents Jesus, The Lamb Of God. The paws of Aries ,the lamb breaks the bands of Cetus (Satan). Jesus breaks the bands of judgement off of the twelve tribes of Israel. Andromeda- the chained woman is called Sirra in Hebrew, the chained. Israel is depicted as a woman.(Revelation 12:1-17). It is Christ that breaks her binding chains.(Isaiah 51:21-23; 52:2). Cephas-the crowned one is Jesus coming back as a mighty king with his foot planted on the north star. He is known as the Redeemer and the breaker as signified by the two bright stars in this constellation.

In short, this constellation of Pisces tells of the southern and northern kingdoms reunited, and the bands of death and hell untied and broken by the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ the breaker. The chained woman (Israel) is set free and Christ will come back and rule as king of kings and lord of lords. Christians are also included in this for all who have the faith of Abraham and walk in the steps of Abraham and are heirs to the promises of Abraham and are a part of the commonwealth of Israel. (Romans 8:15-17; 4:12; 16-17; John 8:39; Romans 10:12; Ephesians 2:12; 19-22). Abraham believed in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ which was acted out on mount Moriah which is Mount Calvary where Jesus was crucified. If we believe and shall confess with our mouths the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in our hearts that God has raised him from the dead, we shall be saved. (Romans 10:9)

Jesus is the anointed one of God and he has come to break the chains of sin and death and to set us free. It is the anointing that breaks the yoke of bondage and sin and Jesus has given us his Holy Spirit which Anoints us to do the works that Christ has done and even Greater works in volume. (John 14:12.)

Bye for now and God bless you each and everyone.

Take Courage God is on Your Side Romans 8:31

pastors pen                                                  Feb.2019

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I trust that all is well with you and yours.

A calendar of events: Feb 14th, Valentines Day, 15th is National Flag Day (Canada). 18th President's Day (USA) and Family Day (Canada).

Do not forget to do something special for that special person in your life. (Wife, sweetheart, friend, Husband)

The sign of the Zodiac for Feb. is Aquarius The three decans for Feb. or Aquarius is Piscis Australis, (the southern fish), Pegasus, (the winged returning horse (Malachi 4:2). Cygnus-the swan known as the bird of return. (Acts 1:11). Aquarius is pictured as a man holding a vase of water and pouring it out. Atonement having been made, the blessings which follow are portrayed in this constellation in the living waters that are poured out for the redeemed of the Lord. The prophet Baalam prophesied: " He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted." (Numbers 24:7). In John 7:37-38 " Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water".

Jesus spake of himself as being the water of life, those who drink his water will never thirst again. (John 4:14). The water poured out of the vase goes down into the mouth of a dying fish, this is the symbol of a Christian being revived again.

We are living in perilous times. At any moment the world we live in could explode into a world wide war of unthinkable consequences. Evil men and women and Seducers are waxing worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. (II Timothy 3:1;13). When we see these things coming to pass we should not be afraid nor should we despair. We are to look up for our redemption is drawing near. (Luke 21:28). Jesus Christ is coming back as the lightning from the east to the west. He is coming with healing in His Wings. (Matt. 24:27; Malachi 4:2). Jesus will pour out the former and latter rain and refresh and revive his people. (Joel 2:23). Take courage Oh fainting heart, for he will make a way. Therefore, my beloved brethern, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. (I Corint. 15:58). Be not weary in well doing, for in due season, you shall reap, if you faint not. (II Thess. 3:13; Galatians 6:19).

Bye for now and may the Lord of Glory strengthen you and supply all your needs, and encourage you and bless you bountifully in all things, through Jesus Christ. (Phill. 4:7).

Happy New Year-2019

pastors pen                                                  Jan 2019

Greetings once again as we start a New Year. May you and yours feel God's presence throughout the coming year. I hope that each of you will experience something new and exciting this year. It is never too late to expect the best in life. Noah was 500 years old when God told him to build an Ark. Abraham was 99 years old when Isaac was born. Moses was 80 years old when God called him to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt. There are many other examples in scripture of people late in life who experienced their greatest achievements in life. Look for and expect new and exciting things for the coming year. Most of all keep looking upward for the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (Luke 21:28)"....Look up and lift up your heads for your redemption draweth nigh." Lift up that head that is hanging low. There is hope in the Lord. Choose to be happy this year. There is no profit in being sad or disheartened. God is a cheerful and he wants his children to be happy and cheerful also. Rejoice in the Lord always and again i say Rejoice!(Phil.4:4). The joy of the Lord is your strength. (Nehemiah 8:10). The Psalmist David spoke of the joy of Salvation. (Psa. 51:12). Peter spoke of rejoicing with joy unspeakable and full of glory for those who by faith believe in Christ Jesus (1Peter 1:8). The Apostle Peter stated that even in our times of suffering if we identify with Christ's suffering as being partakers with his suffering, when Christ in glory is revealed, we may be glad also with exceeding joy. Do not let the trials and difficulties of life rob your joy. There is hope in the Lord.

God bless you and yours by filling you with his joy and happiness today and the coming year.

Bye for now.

"The Hope Of The World"

Pastor's Pen                                 Dec. 2018

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! It is my prayer that all is well with you and yours.

We are now in the last month of the year. Soon we will be entering into a New Year, "2019". It hardly seems possible. Christmas time should be a time of Hope and Cheer. Although, sad to say, this is not always true for all people. The pressures of a commercialized Christmas has brought stress, anxiety, and despair to many people. Suicide is prevalent around Christmas time. This is sad and should not be so. In (Psa.119:81) David penned these words; " My Soul panteth for thy Salvation: But I Hope in thy Word. " When we are in distress we must turn to Gods word for Hope. When we are afraid we can find hope in Gods Word. "Thou art my hiding place and my shield. I hope in thy word." (Psa. 119:114). Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose Hope the Lord is." (Jer. 17:7). "It is good that a man should both hope and Quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord." (Lam. 3:26).j

In New York City in the Rockefeller Museum hangs a picture called "Hope". It is a picture of a rugged looking man sitting on a wooden keg and holding a harp with only one string on it, and yet he is trying to play a tune with one string. Some people may feel like they are on their last string, but keep plugging on for there is hope in the Lord. Don't ever give up. As long as you have life and breath there is hope. Jesus Christ came into this world to give hope not only in this life, but in the life to come. He came to Bring light where there was darkness. He comes to bring hope where there seems to be no hope. "Joy to the world the Lord has come."

It was said of Abraham that contrary to hope He believed in Hope. (Romans 4:18). Even though Abraham could not see hope and could not see how it could happen, he believed that if God said it, it would happen. "He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in Faith giving glory to God." (Romans 4:20).

The Apostle Paul stated that we are to rejoice in Hope. Be patient in tribulation and to continue to persevere in prayer. (Paraphrased) (Romans 12:12).

" Now the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in Hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost." ( Romans 15:13).

Bye for now! God bless and keep you in his care. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone!

Let your light shine

pastors pen                                            Nov. 2018

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ!

I want to apologize for not getting Pastor's pen out for the month of October. As many of you know by now, I had a triple bypass heart surgery done six weeks ago on my heart. My heart, doctors told me, as of Wednesday of this past week, the 24th, is all well as tests came back showing that my heart was operating at full capacity. Everything is normal now! Even the part of my heart that appeared at first to be diseased and inoperative is now fully functional. Praise the Lord! I want to thank all of you who prayed for me during my stay in the hospital and all during my recovery. God is good and God is merciful.

November reminds us of Thanksgiving which comes on the 22nd of November. The scripture teaches us that we are to be thankful in all things(I Thess. 5:18; Heb. 13:15) November the 6th is midterm elections. This is extremely important. This election could determine the rise or fall of our Nation. Christians CANNOT sit idly by and not vote. There are evil men and women who want to destroy our Nation morally and spiritually. In I John 3:8 it tells us that "for this purpose the Son of man was manifested (revealed) that he might destroy the works of the devil." Jesus said in John 20:21, "even as my Father hath sent me even so send i you." In John 14:12 Jesus said,"he that believeth on me, the works that i do shall he do also." If Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, then we are to be busy coming against and destroying the works of the enemy also. In Matt. 12:30 Jesus speaking on the subject of casting out devils, stated that "He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me; scattereth abroad." In plain and simple English, if people who call themselves Christians are not going to the polls and voting against the evil the stand for and support, those "so called" Christians are in fact against Christ and everything he stands for. As Christians , we are called to resist evil.

The word eschew and the word escheweth appears twice in scripture. One in the old Testament in Chapter 1&2 of the book of Job. One in the New Testament in Chapter 3: verse 11 in the book of Peter. The word escheweth found in Job is the Hebrew word Cuwr-it which means to, Turn Off, to Pluck Away, or Put Down, to Rebel Against. It was said of Job that he was a perfect and upright man and one that feared God and escheweth evil. In other words, Job came against evil. As a Judge among the people, he ruled and voted against evil.

The Apostle Peter speaking of the man who wants to be blessed and see good days from the Lord, he is to refrain his tongue from evil and eschew evil. I Peter 3:10-11 " Again, Christians are to come against evil as well as avoiding evil. If we are not doing this then we are being disobedient to the Lord and his word. You cannot take the middle ground or road: Jesus will not allow it. You are either with him or against him.

Bye for now. God bless you as you obey the Lord. Make you voice to be heard by voting for those who uphold God's values. You are the salt of the earth and the light of the world.

Let your light shine now!

""Faith is the Key"

pastors pen                                          Sept. 2018

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I trust that all is well with you and yours. Jesus Christ is our Savior, deliverer, healer, provider, and soon coming King and many other things,

The astrological sign for September is Virgo, which goes from September the 14th to October 29th. In Hebrew Virgo is called Bethulah which means 'virgin'. It is the sign of a virgin giving birth to a man child which will be called Emanuel, which also means "God with us".(Matt.:23). There are several special days in September. On the 3rd of September there is Labor Day. The 9th is Rosh Hashanah which begins in the 9th and ends on the 11th. Constitution Day is on the 16th. Yom Kipper is on the 19th which is the"Day of Atonement". National Pow/Mia Day(Prisoner of War/Missing in Action) and Native American Day is on the 21st. Fall begins on the 22nd. Gold Star Mother's Day is on the 30th.

All of my grandchildren were born in September, Autumn on the 10th, Brittany on the 11th and Benjamin in the 16th. August was a very busy month and it appears that September will be a busy month also.

Rosh Hashanah literally means,"Head of the Year". We call it New Years Day. It is celebrated with food and festivities and prayers and blessings for a good and prosperous year. It is a new beginning. In and through Jesus Christ we can have a new beginning when we look to him in faith. Jesus has promised to make all things new> (Rev.21:5). There is hope for today and a bright hope for tomorrow. There is power in the spoken word. Speak those things into existence that you need from the Lord. He(Jesus) honors faith. Believe that you shall have what you ask for. But without faith it is impossible to please God; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, (that he exists) and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him(Hebrews11:6). If we ask in faith, not wavering then we shall have what we ask for.(James1:6). Jesus said, " If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you. (John 15:7).....FAITH IS THE KEY THAT UNLOCKS THE DOOR, USE IT TODAY AND EVERY DAY.

God bless you and keep you in the hollow of his hand. bye for now Pastor L. M. Whitehead

"The Lion of the Tribe of Judah"

pastors pen                                                 august 2018

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I trust that all is well with you and yours. Our God is an all sufficient God, that can supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus(Phill. 4:19).

In Psalms 19:1 David penned these words, "The heavens declare the glory of the God;and the firmament showeth his handiwork". What David is saying by the Spirit if God is that the story of God and his relationship with mankind from the beginning to the end is written in the stars of heaven. Paul the Apostle to the Gentiles wrote in Romans 1:18-20, saying,(18)"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness, (19)Because the which may be known of God is manifest(made evident) in them for God hath showed it unto them.(20)For the invisible thing of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they(mankind) are without excuse." What Paul is saying is that all you have to do is to look at the visible things of God's creation to understand the invisible which is the Godhead made up of the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost. When Joseph had his dreams in Genesis 37:5-11, he dreams that the sun, the moon, and the stars made obeisance to him. The sun represented his father Jacob, the moon his mother,Rachel, and the stars his brothers. The Father God is symbollically represented by the Sun, The Son by the Moon, and the Holy Spirit by the stars which is in all believers.

In astrology, the story of God and man is told by the twelve signs of the zodiac. the sign for August is Leo. The last constellation along the path of the sun is called in Latin, Leo and Hebrew,Arieh. Both mean lion. The sign in the heavens is a mighty lion with his feet over the serpent Hydra. The brightest stars are called Regulus which means (treading under foot), Denebola (the judge cometh), Deneb Aleced this means (the judge shall reign). In Numbers( 24:8-9) Balaam foretold of this. He prophesied of the coming Messiah and what he would do and what he would be like, saying" God brought him forth out of Egypt(Joseph took Mary and the Baby Jesus and fled to Egypt) he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations of his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows. He couched he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? In Revelations 5:5 it is revealed to John that the same one who laid down his life for the sins of the world, becoming the lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world is now become the__ Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

The constellation of Leo(the lion) has what is called three decans the first is Hydra the serpent, it is the fleeing serpent. The brightest stars in this decan is called the deceiver and the abhorred. On the back of the serpent is a cup or bowl and a Raven; these are the other two decans of Leo. The fleeing serpent, of course, represents the devil, saten.

Crater(the Cup) which is the second decan is seen as a cup or bowl filled with fire ready to be poured out onto the serpent which represents God's judgement being poured out on the wicked at the last days.(Psalms 75:8) (rev. 14:10).

Corvus the third and last decan is a picture of a raven tearing into the fleeing serpent. In Revelation 19:17,18 the fowls are called to devour the flesh of men and horses at the great battle called the supper of the Great God.(see also Prov. 30:17).

Of course the story of the constellation of Leo gives the message of the Lion of Judah who shall trample upon the wicked at his coming. He shall pour out his cup of wrath upon those who do wickedly, and the birds of the air shall punish them. Therefore, we see the representations that at the Day of Judgment the wicked may try to flee, but they shall not escape judgement.

This is clearly seen as the Apostle Paul stated, therefore, men will be without any excuse when they stand before God. The only escape is to repent and accept God's forgiveness made possible by the Lamb of God,(Jesus Christ) who became our Sacrifice for sin. (John 1:29)

Bye for now, God bless and may he meet all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Pastor L.M. Whitehead/D.Div.

"One Nation Under God"

pastors pen                                              July 2018

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! My prayer is that all is well with you and yours. I hope everyone is staying cool in the midst of all the heat we have been having. We are just beginning July and already temps are soaring into the hundreds.

Fourth of July comes at the first of the month. On the fourth we celebrate as a nation Independence Day. Flags, fireworks, parades and parties are all a part of the celebration. One thing that is not practiced enough is the giving of thanks to God for our own protection and blessing as a nation. Many fail to realize that our blessings came from God. The pledge of allegiance states that we are- one nation under God- and indivisible. Much of our nation thinks that we, by our own wisdom and might made this nation great. Despite this we are divided as a nation. A nation that is supposed to be indivisible. Dividing people and nations is the work of Satan and not God. This shows that Satan is busy at working to divide this country. There is a spiritual warfare going on in this nation of ours. We have a weapon that God has given to us but far too few people avail themselves of that which God gives us. It is not a carnal weapon, but a spiritual one. By praying in the Spirit we can cast down the strongholds of Satan. (II Corint. 10:3-5).

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers and rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore, we take unto ourselves the whole armor of God. This armor is made up of truth, our loins girt with it and having the breastplate of righteousness, our feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith and the helmet of salvation and taking the sword of the spirit which is the word of God. If we are properly protected and properly armed(the sword of the spirit), then we can withstand and put to flight all the enemy.(Ephs. 6:12-18.)

We are not to trust in our own weapons of warfare. The Psalmist David stated that; Some trust in Chariots some trust in horses but we will trust in the name of the Lord our God(psa. 20:7). " Thus saith the Lord, cursed be the man(or nation) that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.'(Jerem17: 5). We cannot trust in our military might or trust in the strength or wisdom of man. Our trust must be, ultimately, in the lord our God Jehovah. Let us repent as individuals and as a nation and make God our protector, our blesser, and our Savior. God bless America and may He stand beside us and guide us until he comes for us. Bye for now. God bless you and have a safe and happy "Fourth of July".

"The Blood Stained Banner"

pastors pen                              June 2018

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My prayer and hope is that you and yours are in good health and enjoying the blessings of God.

May the 28th we celebrated Memorial Day. This holiday is sometimes referred to as Decoration Day in memory of all who died in the war. When we observe Communion in the church, we do so in remembrance of what Christ has done for us. Jesus was and is the greatest of the war dead and yet he is alive for he overcame death, hell and the grave.(Rev. 1;18).

June 11th is i and my wife's wedding anniversary. We will be married 51 years. We thank God for his blessings upon us.

June 14th is Flag Day. Displaying the United States Flag is proper for the occasion. As Christians we can display the Christian Flag which has the cross of Christ as our banner. Songs such as, "At The Cross"; "the Old Rugged Cross"; "There's Room At The Cross"; "In The Cross" and many other beautiful songs about the Cross speak of our greatest symbols of victory.

Summer begins officially on the 21st of June, which is also the longest day of the year. I think summer may have started a little earlier this year with temperatures in the nineties in May of this year. God is preparing a place for his church where we will never again be scorched by the rays of the sun. As a matter of fact, we will have no need of the sun for the Lamb shall be the light of the city of God.(Rev. 21:23). There will be one eternal day without a night.(Rev. 21:25). In the city of God we will hunger no more, neither thirst anymore, neither shall the sun light on us nor the heat. "for the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of water: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes." (Rev. 7:16-17).

Thank God for the great victory that Christ wrought for us on the Cross of Calvary. Thank God for the great hope we have in Christ. Look up for your redemption draweth nigh. Jesus is coming soon! So come Lord Jesus "Maranatha"- (Luke 21:28; Rev. 22:20).

God bless you as you, by faith embrace the greatest promises of God on your journey here until he comes.

Bye for now,

Pastor/Dr L.M. Whitehead

To all father's, Happy Fathers Day! Children honor your Father by being in church with them June 17th. May we all give glory and honor to our heavenly Father by being in the house of worship.

"Honor Your Parents"

pastors pen

Greetings once again in the name of the lord Jesus Christ! I pray and trust all is well with you and yours. May health, strength and encouragement flow out to you and your family

in the name of the lord Jesus Christ.

The month of May is noted for several things. "April showers bring May flowers." This is a beautiful time of the year and the flowers and trees are beautiful at this time. God has a beautiful place for man and mankind to live in.

May 3rd is "National Day of Prayer"; May 13th is "Mothers Day"; May 19th is " Armed Forces Day"; May the 28th is "Memorial Day".

The fifth Commandment is to Honor Your Father and Mother. This Commandment is the first Commandment with promise. Children are told to obey their parents in the lord, for this is right in the sight of the lord. That it may be well with thee, and thou mayst live long on the earth. (Eph.6: 1-3). There is a lack of respect for parents in many of our homes an families today. When God gave the Commandment to Honor Your Father and Mother, he didn't say honor your father and mother

if they are perfect, or if they give you everything you want. For none of us are perfect and when children grow up and are parents they won't be perfect either. Jesus stated that the Scribes and Pharisees had made the law of God to be of none effect. Jesus asked the Scribes and Pharisees, "Why do ye transgress the Commandment of God by your Tradition? Saying honor thy father and mother and, He that curseth them let him die, but ye say, whosoever shall say to his Father or his mother, it is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; and honor not his father or his mother, he shall be free.

Thus you have made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition." (Matt 15:3-6) According to commentators, the teaching referred to here is a contradiction to the law. Their tradition stated that a man could not in any case bestow his worldly estate better than to give it to the priest, and to the service of the temple: and that when anything was so devoted, it was not only unlawful to alienate it, but all other obligations, though however so just and sacred, were thereby superseded. So when parents needed the help of their children the children would say, it is a gift, by whatsoever that it may prosper it thou by me. And therefore, their parents must expect nothing from them. We can see how the priest would be in favor of this for it allowed them to rob parents of money and resources of the children, which according to law was to be made available to the parents or parent. A part of honoring one's parents is to take care of them when help was needed, especially in old age.

I'm afraid that many children are dying at a young age and are not blessed because they have violated the fifth Commandment of God. This year don't forget to honor your parents or parent for this is good and right in the sight of the lord.

Bye for now. God bless you and a "Happy Mother's Day" to all the Mothers.

Pastor,Dr. L.M. Whitehead.

"THE Greatest GIFT

pastors pen                                            April, 2018

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My prayer is that all is well with you. The month of April is a special month and it's a beautiful month. Spring has just begun. Trees and flowers are blooming and leaves appearing. Temperatures are quite pleasant with a gentle breeze. After the cold of winter has passed, the earth comes to life again. All this reminds us of life we live here on this earth is short. In time we grow old. This is a result of Sin entering into our world not only is mankind affected by the results of sin, but the whole creation groans and travails waiting for the day of redemption.(Romans 8:23-24). Just as the earth waits for spring to bring new life, through life there is a spring that is coming for all those who receive Christ. We will receive new life. In (Luke 1:78), Jesus is spoken of as the dayspring from on high. The word "dayspring" in the Greek means, to cause to rise, or to spring up, a rising light, the dawn. Even though we may die and our bodies appear to be completely dead, yet at the voice of Christ we will spring forth in newness of life and live again. We know this as resurrection power. Gods gift to mankind was not only God's son who gave us salvation and forgiveness of sin, but we also received the gift of eternal life. If you lose all that this world has to offer in order to gain the Gift of God, then you have gained it all. Through Christ we will enter into an eternal spring where we will never die. There will be no more winters and no more droughts. We will drink from the spring of living water. Look past your cold and dark winters and by faith see the dawning of a new day and the beginning of a new life in Christ. " For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.' (John 3:16). Your cold dark night of despair is over. The glorious light of the son of righteousness is arising with healing in his wings to shine his light upon you. (Malachi 4:2). A new day is dawning just for you. Bye for now, and have a happy Resurrection day and celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ this month who is the first fruits of the Resurrection. (1 Corinth. 15:20).

 "Time to March"

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I trust that all is well with you and yours. God is still on his throne and Jesus Christ is still King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Praise God! We are more than conquerors through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (Rev. 17:14;Rom. 8;37).

As i was contemplating as to what to write about for this month of March, the Lord spoke to me as to say, It is time for the Church to march. For the most part the church does not see itself as an army. Paul told Timothy in (2 Tim. 2:3-4), "thou therefore, endure hardness as a good soldier of JesusChrist. (4) " No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.' Enoch prophesied that the lord would come with ten thousands of his saints to execute judgment upon the sinful world(Jude 14;15). It is time for the church to stand up as a great army and not be afraid to launch an offensive against the forces of evil. We are soldiers of the Cross. We must let our voices be heard. The sound of the trumpet is a sound to attack and not retreat. Cowards in his service shall not have a place in his army. " keep on the Firing Line". as the song says. We must voice our godly opinion without fear. Every true child of God must cast their vote in elections. There is no middle ground.

"Jesus said, If your not with me your against me." (Luke 11;23). If you're not voting against evil, then you are voting for evil. We must not be afraid to speak out against evil. It was said of Job, that he was perfect and upright , and one that feared God, and escheweth(commanding to obstain from) evil,(Job 1:1). The word escheweth is the Hebrew word "cuwr" which means also to turn off; to pluck away, to rebel against or remove. Job came against evil and sought to remove evil from his community and nation. Peter said that as Christians we are to eshew evil, and do good; In the Greek it is the word "ekklino". Which means to shun. So, we are to resist and shun evil.

The hymnal, "Marching On" is a great song which speaks of the church marching on in the light of God, Victory is mine while i've Christ within, marching, marching on.

God bless you and yours. Keep marching on for Christ.

Bye for now,

"More Than Conquerors"

Pastor's Pen

Greeting's once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I trust that all is well with you and yours. I hope that your new year has started off in a good way.

None of us are immune from difficulties and trials. Jesus has promised to be with us and to help us through our trials.(Hebrews 13:5-6,Matt. 28:20). Never doubt that Jesus loves you. Jesus proved his love for you when he died on the cross for your sins and bore the stripes on his back for your healing. (Isaiah 53:5),(1Peter 2:24). Even death is not a loss for a Christian. When Christians die they go to heaven. That is a gain not a loss. The apostle Paul said, "For me to live is Christ, for me to die is gain."(Phil. 1:21). Our treasures are not on this earth. Our treasures are in heaven. "The things of this life will soon be past, and only what's done for Christ will last.

This month on the 14th day is Ash Wednesday and also Valentine's Day. Ash Wednesday is a time to humble one's self before the lord (Ashes) and to confess our sins and repent of our sins. (1John 1:9). Valentine's day should serve to remind us that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotton Son...(John3:16). By the way, that includes you! Never doubt as to whether someone loves you. Live every day of your life with that assurance.

Now may you sense the love of Christ and enjoy the peace that passes all understanding. (Eph.3:19, Phil. 4;7). "Take courage then oh fainting heart, for you he will make a way."

"Thy Will Be Done"

January, 2018

Pastor's Pen

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I trust that all is well with you and yours. I hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas with friends and family. I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year.

None of us knows what the coming year holds for us, but we do know who holds and determines the future. As Christians we can know that God is in control of our lives. God is directing our footsteps. Nothing in our lives happens by accident. God goes before us and prepares the why before us.(psa.5:8);23:5). God has good thoughts toward us and concerning us. He has a bright future planned for us. (Jeremiah 29:11).

Our plans for the New Year should always be subject to God's will. In the book of James he tells us that we should not say we are going some place to do something as if we had the power to determine these things beforehand. For he tells us that we don't know what tomorrow holds for us. We could be here one moment an gone the next. Our life is like a vapor that appears for a moment an then it is gone. We are not to boast about what we plan to do, for God determines what we will do and where and when we will go. God determines our future.

When Jesus was praying in the garden just before he was arrested, he prayed," not my will, but thine be done." (Luke 22:42). Doing the will of God is more important than our plans. Many people say, " i am doing the Lord's work so i must be doing the right thing." But, Jesus said, " Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven." Jesus goes on to say that many have prophesied in his name and cast out devils, and did many wonderful works, but yet Jesus says to them," I never knew you: depart from me, ye workers of iniquity." (Matt. 7:22-23). Some people think they can work for the lord and still live like the world and be accepted by God. Jesus tells us that this is a false assumption. The wages of sin is death for everyone, God is no respecter of persons. We are all judged on the same basis. Let Jesus truly be lord of your life by obeying Him and doing His will and your future will truly be bright.

God bless everyone! Have a blessed and safe "Happy New Year!"

Jesus Christ, God's Gift to Mankind

                                                 December' 2017

Pastor's Pen

Greetings once again in the name of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. I trust that all is well with you and yours. Our prayers are going out for my niece Shirley and for my sister Patricia and her husband David. God is still Jehovah Raphah. Jesus has already paid the price for our healing. In the name of Jesus we speak health and strength to all those who are reading this pastor's pen. Jesus said we could ask anything in his name and it would be done. John 14:13-14. We are about to celebrate Christmas once again and my prayer is that God will grant a Christmas gift of healing to all of those who are sick in any way. I feel the Holy Spirit is flowing out to all of those who need healing right now. Believe and receive it. Jesus came to save, heal and deliver all that our bound.

When the angel appeared to the shepherds heralding the birth of Jesus, along with the heavenly choir, four things were spoken of. First, they would receive great joy Luke 2:10. Second, they would receive salvation, a savior Luke 2:11. Third there would be peace to those who receive him. Col. 1:20. Luke 2:14.

fourth there would be good will toward men. Luke 2:14. God wills good things for you today. He wills joy, salvation, and peace to you today. God's will toward you is always a good will because of Jesus Christ his son. Expect something good to happen to you right now in the name of Jesus Christ his son. May the joy and peace of Christmas fill your hearts and your minds now and forever more.

Thinking of others!

Be ye thankful Colossian 3:15

November, 2017

Greetings once again in the name of our lord Jesus Christ.

November is here once again. The fifth of November we go back to regular time. Daylight savings time is over with. The first of November is All Saints Day. Few people observe or celebrate All Saints Day, but rather they celebrate Halloween, the day before All Saints Day. This is a sad thing that people choose to celebrate the unholy instead of the holy.

Veterans Day comes on the eleventh of this month. We are to remember the Great sacrifices of our veterans. And of course, Thanksgiving Day comes on the 23rd of this month. If you live in the United States of America you can consider yourself to be blessed. Too often we complain about our nation instead of giving God thanks for our Nation. Too often we think about all the wrongs instead of the rights we have. We complain about what we don't have instead of giving God thanks for what we do have. I remember a story about a little boy and girl who were homeless and without parents They lived in the city dump on the edge of Mexico City where over a million people live. This little boy and girl were combing through the garbage to find food. The little girl uncovered some bread crumbs on the ground. She started to picking up the crumbs and sharing them with her brother. Then the little girl said to her brother "I can't believe that people would throw away good food like this." God helps us and forgives us when we complain about what we have.

In a recent article in News max Magazine it stated that "Americans throw away 299 Billion dollars worth of food every year-deemed safe to eat." We throw food away when there are millions of people right here in our own country that are starving or close to starving to death. We need to stop complaining about our own place in life and remember to help those who are far less fortunate than we are. As the old hymn states "Count your many blessings, name them one by one, and it will surprise you what the lord has done."

Be thankful in all things. ( 1 Thess. 5:18) This year at Thanksgiving remember to help someone who is less fortunate than you are(Philippians2:4.)

God bless you and bye for now. Have a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving. Until next time...

                                                         OCTOBER, 2017

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I pray that all is well with you and yours!

Many people have recently suffered many hardships due to hurricanes, flooding, earthquakes and forest fires as well as numerous act of violence and disease. These are perilous times that we are living in. (II Tim. 3:1) The cost of recovering from natural disasters is staggering. Our national debt is in the trillions. As a nation, we are basically bankrupt. There are threats of war all over the globe. There is perplexity of nations. (Luke 21: 25) All of these things should serve to draw us nearer to God This is God's way of letting us know that he is the only hope of our nation and our world.

As a soldier of Christ, we must learn to endure hardness. We must also be careful to not get ourselves entangled with the affairs of this life. (II Tim 2:3-4) Jesus Christ endured many hardships and he did it for fallen humanity. Paul the apostle, said that if we suffer with Christ, we shall also reign with Him. (II Tim. 2:12) As Christians, we must understand that we have to persevere. We can never think about giving up. If we start in the race, we must finish it at all cost. The suffering of this present time are not worthy to be compared to the glory which shall be revealed in us who love the Lord. (Romans 8:18) Spiritually speaking, we must work while it is day, for the night is coming when no man can work (John 9:4)

Jesus is coming soon and we must redeem the time. The harvest is great, but the labors are few. (Matt. 9:37) Jesus Christ is coming back for those who have sanctified themselves and made themselves ready for his coming.(Rev. 19:7) Jesus Christ is coming for a glorious church without spot nor wrinkle. (Eph. 5: 27) Spots and winkles represent any and all sins that might be in our lives. We must search our hearts daily and ask the Lord to reveal any sin that might be in our lives. (Psalm 139: 23-24) Wherefore, let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall (I Corinthians 10:12) Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. (Jude 24:25)

Bye for now! God bless you and keep you by his power and might.

AUG, 2017

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I pray all is well with you and yours!

In 1999 it was designated that on August the 8th it would be "Happy Happens Day!" The next year in 2000 they designated that the whole month of August as being "Happy Happens Month!"

Thank God for the fact that for Christians "Happy Happens" can be for the whole year, every year. This is one of the benefits of being a child of God. The birth of Jesus Christ brought great joy and happiness to the earth. The wise men rejoiced with exceeding great joy when they saw the star which indicated to them where Jesus was. Whenever people find Jesus it produces joy and happiness. It not only produces happiness in the hearts of those who find Jesus but it also produces joy and happiness in heaven. Jesus said, "I say unto you there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth." (Luke 15:10)The resurrection of Jesus Christ produced great joy in the hearts of those who saw him. After Jesus was resurrected he led his disciples as far as Bethany and he was parted from them and carried up into heaven. And the disciples worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. (Luke 24:51-52). Jesus said that the joy he gives us no man can take away from us. (John 16:22). In verse 24 Jesus said; ask and ye shall receive that your joy (Happiness) may be full.

The infilling of the Holy Spirit brings great joy and happiness to the believer. "And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost!" (Acts 13: 52). The report of Paul and Barnabas stating that many Gentiles had believed on the Lord caused great joy unto all the brethren. (Acts 15:3). The report of sinners being saved should not only make the angels in heaven happy, but all believers should rejoice and be happy.

The fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy and Peace... (Galatians 5:22). We are to rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory (1 Peter 1:8). "Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen!" (Jude 24:25)

Until next time, keep on rejoicing in the Lord and may your hearts be filled with joy and gladness every moment of the day. God bless you all in Jesus name!

"Christians United"

July, 2017

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ! Once again, may God's blessings be upon you and yours.

The month of July always reminds us of our Nation and the liberties and freedoms that we have as citizens of this great Nation. It also serves to remind us of the price that was paid for our freedom. Many times people are oppressed by big government. Government can be good or it can be bad. We as citizens should do our duty in keeping government in check. Voting and becoming politically involved is the duty of every citizen. Christians who uphold Christian values should let their voices be heard. Jesus said that we (Christians) are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. (Matt. 5:13-14). That means that we are to exert our Christian values upon society in order to turn our society into a godly society. We cannot be afraid or intimidated by a godless society. As Christians we must be united in our efforts to preserve a Nation where freedom can flourish. We can change our world for good if we are united. A house divided against itself cannot stand. (Mark 3:24-25). Only by studying and understanding God's word can we be united in our efforts. The writer of Hebrews states that "strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, (Mature Christians), even those who by reason of use have their senses exercise (trained) to discern both good and evil." (Hebrews 5:14). Only those who know God's word and use God's word are trained by God's word, know what is good and what is evil.

We have many "so called" Christians who endorse and practice things that are condemned by God's word. This creates a division in the church. We need maturity in the church, which will bring unity as well into the church. Once this happens, we can truly be a light into the world and as salt serves to seasons food, we as the church can serve our world for the good. Seek to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world through the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Bye for now. Happy 4th of July to all!

"The Greatest Wedding"

Jesus and His Church

June, 2017

Greetings once again to all our friends in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

This month of June is a very special month especially for my wife June and for me also. On June the 11th 50 years ago my wife and I were married. We are celebrating this event on our wedding anniversary by inviting all our friends and relatives to come by and wish us a Happy 50th Anniversary! This will be from 2:30-5:30 PM. Sunday the 11th of June. This is at our home.

The month of June is noted for many weddings. This reminds me of the wedding of all weddings that will take place in heaven. Jesus the groom will be wed to the church which is his bride. In Revelation 19:9 John writes "Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb". All true Christians should be looking forward to being at this wedding feast. With all the things that are happening in our world today it tells us that this wedding feast between the Lamb and his wife is not for off. Jesus our Lord has been preparing for this event for approximate 2000 years. What a glorious event this will be. Jesus said that many shall come from the east and the west and sit down at the table with Abraham, Issac and Jacob in the kingdom of Heaven. (Matt. 8:11). I don't know about you, but I want to be a part of that number. Jesus said in John 14:2-3 that, " In (his), my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. (3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye my be also."

Jesus always keeps his promises. He will come back. And I believe it is soon. Get ready! Don't miss this great event!

Bye for now and God bless everyone!

May, 2017

Greetings once again in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I trust that all is well with you and yours.

On May the 4th there will be a 'National Day' of prayer. We must be faithful in praying for our nation and for the leaders of our nation. We must pray that God will forgive us of our sins and turn the hearts of the American people toward God and toward righteousness and holiness. We must pray for our President and his Staff that God will give them the wisdom, understanding and knowledge that they need to direct this nation in the way of righteousness. We must also pray for the protection of Christians all over the world.

On May the 14th we will honor our Mothers. We must pray for our Mothers. Not all women with children are true mothers. Just because a woman has a baby doesn't make her a true mother. A true mother will nourish and protect her children. The scripture tells us that some women are without natural affection. (Romans 1:31). Those women who abort their children are without natural affection. Those who abandon their children are not true mothers.

Jesus likened his love to that of a mother when he wept over Jerusalem: Saying, "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!" (Matt. 23:37). The word, 'hen' in this verse is the Greek word, 'Ornis', which means, a bird, as one rising in the air, spreading it's wings.

Jesus would have spread his wings over Jerusalem to protect it, but they rejected his protection.

There is a story of a fireman putting out hot spots. As the fireman was moving along he came upon the charred carcass of a bird. With the toe of his boot he flipped over the bird and when he did three little baby birds ran out from under the charred body of their mother. The mother bird had sacrificed it's body to save her babies. It's a shame that a mother bird has far more love for it's babies than many (so called) human mothers have for their babies today.

A true mother is a great treasure and its is only fitting that we should honor them not only on Mother's Day, but also throughout the year.

Bye for now. God bless you and yours and a "Happy Mother's Day"to all true mothers.

April of 2017

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ !

My prayer is that you and yours are in good health and enjoying the blessings of

the Lord!

There are some important dates and events taking place in the month of April. On the ninth of the month we observe Palm Sunday. This is the time we remember the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. The people cried out, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" Hosanna means, "Save Us". The people praised Jesus with a loud voice. The chief priest and Pharisees told Jesus to stop the people from praising Him and Jesus said, "I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out." (Matt. 21:7-16;Lke 19:32-40). We must be filled with praise for the Lord and look to Him as Lord and Savior.

Passover begins at sundown on the 10th of April. This is to celebrate the deliverance of the Israelites from Eygptian bondage. God wrought this victory through the leadership of Moses. God showed His power through plagues and miracles. It was the last plague, the death of all the first born in Egypt that brought about the deliverance of God's people. The lamb that was slain and it's blood being applied over the door post are symbolic of what Christ would do in dying for our sins and shedding His blood for our deliverance from sin. (Exo. 12:21-30). Spiritually we must apply the blood of Christ t our lives. The Israelites were to remain under the protection of the blood of Christ. When we observe the Lord's Communion it is to remind us that Christ died for us; becoming the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world.

On the sixteenth of the month we celebrate Easter. Christ not only died, but He rose again. Jesus Christ overcame death, hell and the grave. (Rev. 1:18). He did all this for you and me. For all who believe in Jesus Christ and accept what He has done for us. We now have the hope of eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We have much to be thankful for. Let this month be a time of thanksgiving and praise as we celebrate the great events pertaining to our Savior and His victorious exploits that He accomplish for you and yours once again through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. By for now !

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ !

March the first begins with Ash Wednesday. This is the first day of Lent. Lent is the period of forty days before Easter, a period of penitence. A practice of the Roman Catholic Church and possibly a few other churches, was the sprinkling of ashes or ashes being put on the foreheads of those practicing penance.

Martin Luther, the great reformer, was crawling up the stairs of the church on broken glass, hands and knees bleeding. He was doing penance. When like a bolt of lighting, the words of the Apostle Paul hit him, saying, "The just shall live by faith" (Romans 1:17). He arose from the steps of the church to never do penance again. We cannot earn forgiveness of sin. Christ has already paid the price for our forgiveness. He suffered and died for us. We must accept what he has done for us by faith.

Mardi Gras comes just before Ash Wednesday. The people revel in sin during Mardi Gras and then come to the church the next day pretending as if they are humbling themselves and are sorry for their sins. It is a mockery of God's Grace and Goodness. The idea is, let us sin that Grace my abound. The Apostle Paul addressed this issue and condemned it, Saying, "God Forbid". How shall we that are dead to sin, live any longer therein

(Romans 6:1-2).

Water baptism represents the burying of the old man of sin. We are raised to newness of life by the power of Christ's resurrection power (Romans 6:4-5). Being made free from sin we now become the servants to God and our fruits unto holiness and the end, everlasting life. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:22-23). Let us live this month knowing that we can live above sin by the power of Jesus Christ. Be a Servant to God and His righteousness.

Bye for now and God Bless You and Yours for another month.

Greetings once again to you and yours in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

When we think about what Christ has done for us it should cause us to rejoice in the Lord. Phil. 4:4 tells us to “Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice.” Every day we should thank God and rejoice that our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. (Luke 10:20) Every day we should rejoice that we are on our way to Heaven and not hell.

Our sins have been forgiven and we have peace with God our Father. We are loved by God. (John 3:16). Thank God for the word of God, for His Holy Spirit, for His Church and for Pastors, Prophets, Evangelist, and Teachers who encourage us and teach us the ways of God. Thank God for the blessed hope that we have in looking forward to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(II Tim. 4:1, 8) Titus 2:13) In all these things we have much to rejoice about. The things of this world are temporal, but the things of God are eternal. Our hope is not in this world only, but in the world to come. We look forward to the resurrection of the dead in Christ.

(I Corinth. 15:19-22), (Corinth. 15:51-57). As God has shown forth His great love in and through His Son Jesus Christ, let us reflect that same love to the world that we live in. The world is starving for love, but not worldly love, The true love, agape love, that can only come from God and to the world through you and I who love the Lord Jesus Christ. Be a beacon of light and love to those around you.

Bye for now. Rejoice evermore!

"A Good New Year"

January, 2017

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! It's my prayer that all is well with you and yours.

What do you expect for the New Year? I hope that you are expecting good things for the New Year. We usually get what we expect to receive. If we expect good things, God blesses us with good things. If we confess good things God honors our confession, if we confess it in the name of Jesus Christ. When we speak something, God releases the power for that to come to pass or to come into existence. When Moses asked God, what is your name, God said, "I AM is my name." (Ex 3:14). Literally it means, I AM that which comes into existence. If you need me to be bread, I will be bread. If you need me to be water, I will be water. If you need me to be your protector, I will be your protector. God kept his word, for in the wilderness God was first their deliverer, then their protector and water when they were thirsty. Whatever you need for the New Year, you must first confess it and expect it. Ask and you shall receive. Ask without wavering. (James 1:6; Mark 11:23-24). The tongue has creative power when we believe. You have power to shape your New Year into something good if you will only speak it into existence. Jesus said that all things are possible to them that believe.

Our petition is granted when we are firmly rooted and grounded in Christ. Jesus said, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall as what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." (John 17:7). Jesus will be to you what He was to Moses and the children of Israel as he led them out of captivity and on their way to the promise land.

And my I say, He will be even more to you because he has given us the gift of the Holy Spirit. You have the power to determine your destiny. Therefore, rejoice and give God thanks for a bright future and a Happy New Year!

Bye for now and God bless you and yours in the coming year.

"Vigilant & Steadfast"

'Christmas Cheer'

December 2016

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Once again we are in the last month of the year. A new year is just around the corner.

Many Christians are rejoicing because of the victory in the presidential election. Many Christians were praying as well as going to the polls and voting. We are truly thankful for another chance to turn this nation in the right direction. just because we won the election does not mean that we can sit down and got to sleep. The devil never sleeps. He is always working his evil plans. The Apostle Peter stated that we are to always be sober and vigilant for our adversary the devil is like a roaring lion, walking about, seeking whom he may devour; We are told to resist the devil steadfastly in the faith. (Peter 5:8-9)

In the Greek the word vigilant means to stay awake and to be watchful. We must watch and pray as Jesus told us to do. (Matt 26:41; Mark 13:33). We are told to be steadfast also. Steadfast in the Greek means to be stiff, poised, ready to act, strong and sure. The scriptures tells us to eschew evil. The word eschew means to come against or to resist.

God said of Job that he was perfect and upright, one that feared God and eschewed evil. (Job 1:1) We cannot allow apathy to keep us from resisting the works of the devil. God has given us another chance to turn this nation in the right direction. We must exalt righteousness and condemn unrighteousness! Let us be a good soldier of Jesus Christ warring against the enemy or our souls. Jesus Christ came into the world that He might destroy the works of the devil. He has given power over all the works of the devil and to tread upon the enemy. (Luke10:19; 1 John 3:8).

It was truly a great day when God sent His Son to the earth. Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace and goodwill to all men. (luke2:14)

Merry Christmas to one and all. "Jesus is the reason for the season" Bye for Now, and May your Christmas be Merry and you New Year Happy!

"Planet Earth"

November 2016

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! The month of November always reminds us of what we should be thankful for. Thanksgiving is a time with family. As we come together we should reflect upon the many blessings that we enjoy in this life. We should also thank God for the promise of eternal life.

One of the things we often forget to thank God for is, a beautiful planet called earth that God made especially for Mankind to live on. Other than Heaven itself, there is no place so beautiful as planet earth. We somehow take for granted all the beautiful things, about God's creation.

In-spite of the fact that God has given us a beautiful place to live, man has done much to destroy planet earth. The use of pesticides and dangerous chemicals the earth and atmosphere and our water supply has been ill affected. Drilling by oil and gas companies, fracking and pumping water into the ground, and caused the the to become unstable, resulting in sinkholes, and numerous earthquakes. Military bombing and the use of natural gas or mustard gas has affected our earth for the worse. We are now experiencing more and more earthquakes, sinkholes, volcanic eruptions, acid rain, pestilence, and strange and deadly deceases. Hurricanes, tornado's, floods and freakish weather patterns are prevalent. In Rev. 11:18 it states that God will destroy those who destroy the earth.

These things that I have listed are destructive things, but there is something that is far more destructive than these things. The transgressions of Gods law or commandments are much more destructive. The weight of sin upon the earth is causing our earth to quake and tremble. ( Joel 2:10). " The earth shall quake (before Gods great army) the heavens and earth shall tremble, the sun and moon shall be dark and the stars shall withdraw their shinning." Isaiah the prophet describes it like this: Fear, and the pit and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. And it shall come to pass, that he that fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare; For the earth do shake. The earth is utterly broken down, and the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. The earth shall reel to and fro from the drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. (Isaiah 24:17-20). In Leviticus 18:19-20 God list numerous sins that the Canaanites committed; including moral and ethical sins. this list included body piercing, which was practiced by Baal worshipers and body tattooing. We are now seeing a revival of these heathen practices. God told Israel that they should never commit these sins for if they did the land would be defiled and the land would spew (vomit) them out of the land. (Lev. 18:24-30 & 20:22). Those who commit these sins are contributing to the demise an destruction of planet earth.

We should give thanks to God for giving us a beautiful planet to live on. we should protect our planet by not deliberating doing things that would contaminate or destroy the earth we live on. And most of all we must avoid transgressing God's laws which is the greatest treat to planet earth.

Good News! When Jesus comes back to this earth he will come with healing in His wings and He will heal planet earth that Satan tried to destroy. (Malachi 4:2)

Bye for now and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Jesus Christ is coming soon!

                          October, 2016

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! As every month goes by we are drawing closer and closer to the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My wife and I have agreed that we are both going in the rapture together. This is our hope. We should look forward, with great joy, for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is coming for those who are looking for his coming (Hebrews 9:28).

As Christians, born again Christians, we have much to be thankful for and to be happy about. Jesus wants us to have peace and joy. "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither, let it be afraid." (John 14:27). "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost." (Romans 14:17). "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance." (Gal. 5:22). We are to rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. (I Peter 1:8). If we are willing to suffer for Christ then we will rejoice and be glad at his coming with exceeding joy. (I Peter 4:13).

"Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen." (Jude 24:25)

Bye for now! My the Lord bless you and may he smile upon you and give you favor, joy and peace in the Holy Ghost.

Sept 2016

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I trust that all is well with you and yours. We have been blessed having rain and cooler temperatures here in the month of August. Soon we will be approaching the Fall of the year. There are some predictions for the month of September.

As I look around us we see many disturbing things happening in our world. The earth seems to be convulsing under the weight of sin. ( Leviticus 18:24-25). Things will not get better till Jesus Christ comes back and sits down on His throne in Jerusalem to rule with a rod of iron in the millennium. How do I know this? Because the Bible tells me so. In 2 Timothy 3:13 Paul tells Timothy and the church that evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. The United States of America has been spared much of the Turmoil that the world has been experiencing; but that is quickly changing. I don’t want to appear to be morbid or depressing, but we cannot close our eyes to what is happening. We cannot stick our heads in the sand as the ostrich when we see danger approaching. The danger will not go away and we ourselves will be affected by it. The prophets, preachers, and evangelist are to be the watchman on the wall warning people of the oncoming danger. (Isaiah 21:6, Ezekiel 3:17-21). If the Ministers of the nation do not warn the people of the danger of sin, God will hold them guilty and the blood of those will be on their hands.

God spoke to the prophet Isaiah saying: “ Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” (Is 58:1) The words “Spare not” in this verse literally means, “have no pity”. God told Ezekiel to warn the people of his day even though they we impudent and stiff hearted. Impudent means, “hard headed”. To many ministers are afraid to warn people of their sinfulness, saying, “Oh they will just get mad and leave the church”, or “I don’t want to create waves” or people might stop supporting the church financially. “May I ask a question? Are you a man/woman pleaser, or a God pleaser? God always has a remnant who is willing to do Gods will whatever the cost may be. The Question is, Are you part of that remnant?” Jesus Christ is not coming for the crowds that are walking down the broad road that leads to destruction, but He is coming for the few who have chosen to follow Christ down the straight and narrow path that leads to eternal life. (Matt 7:14).

There are many other things that I could say, dealing with this subject, but time and space doesn’t allow for it at this time. Nevertheless, America and the world itself must wake up and come to the realization that sin is destructive, All the plans of man will fail, but Gods plan of righteousness made possible through Jesus Christ will never fail.

God bless you and keep you and yours in His care.

Pastor L.M. Whitehead

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I trust that all is well with you and yours. We could complain and fuss about all the things that seem to be wrong but Gods word tells us that we should be thankful in all things. (Ephs 5:20). There are many things we can give God thanks for. To mummer and complain is to doubt God. The children of Israel provoked God ten times and therefore God swore that none of these men would enter the promised land. (Numbers 14:22-23).

Iam afraid that we do ourselves a disservice when we mummer and complain. How many times would God have blessed us tremendously if only we had not complained. “Be careful(anxious) for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanks giving let your request be known unto God.” (Phil. 4:6). Verse seven continues by saying “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Jude stated that Jesus Christ would one day come back with His Saints to execute judgement upon those who are murmurers and complainers. (Jude 16). The proper way to give thanks it to thank God the Father in the name of His Son Jesus Christ. ( Colossians 1:3,12; 3:17; Hebrews 13:15) We are to offer sacrifice and praise unto God the Father by Jesus Christ also. (1 Peter 2:5)

All communication with God the Father must be through Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the Life; no man cometh unto the Father but by me.” (John 14:6)

If we try to give thanks or praise in any other name, other than the name of Jesus, it simply does not get through to God the Father. Jesus is the door and the only door to the throne of God. (John 10:7-9). Being thankful is more than a act, it is an attitude.

God bless you and may all your needs be met according to the riches of God the Father by Christ Jesus. (Phil.4:19)

Bye for now! Keep looking up for our redemption draweth nigh

July 2016

Greetings once in again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This month we celebrate the Fourth of July or Independence Day. I want to say Happy Birthday to my sister Joyce Thurlby whose birthday is also on the Fourth of July.

Although we have lost many of our freedoms as citizens; yet the United States of America is still the greatest place on earth to live in. The Scripture teaches us that we should pray for the nation we live in (Jeremiah 29:7, 1Timothy 2:1-2). We should pray that God will turn the hearts of the American people toward God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We should pray that God will give the people of this nation a hunger for true righteousness and holiness. We should pray that God will send a Holy Ghost Revival and start it in our church’s. For the time has come that judgement must begin at the House of God; (peter 4:17). We need a sin killing revival. When the church gets right then the nation will get right. “Righteousness exalteth a nation; but sin is a reproach to any people”.(Proverbs 14;34) We must redeem the the time we have left; because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5:16) We cannot afford to slumber or sleep. We must be sober and vigilant. “Wherefore he saith Awake, though that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give the light” (Eph. 5:14, Is 60:1).

With all sadness I see many churches compromising with the world and condoning sin or being silent about sin. This is a grave danger to the church. We must not be deceived.

“For this we know, that no warmonger nor unclean person, not covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. (6) Let no man deceive you with vain words; for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.(7) Be not ye therefore partakers with them.” (Ephesians 5:5-7). Jesus is not coming for a sin laden church. We the church, the true church has been washed, sanctified, by the word, by the spirit and by the blood of Jesus Chriist. (Ephesians 5:26; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; 9:28)

Everyday we should thank God that we have been redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 9:14, 9:28)

Bye for now and God bless you in obeying the gospel of Jesus Christ. (2 Thessalonians 1:7-8)

JUNE 2016

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus is coming soon! The signs of the coming of the Lord are everywhere. And Luke the 17 chapter Jesus mentions two things relating to his coming again. (17:26 as it was in the days of Noah, 17:28 likewise also as it was in the days of Lot. In Noah’s time Genesis 6:5, “and God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” 6:11. The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 6:12 and God looked upon the earth, and behold it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.”

In Lot’s day – Genesis 18:20 – “their sin was very grievous.” The men of Sodom surrounded Lots house and demanded that Lot bring the two angels out to them that they might know them. What they wanted to do was not good. For they said if you do not bring them out we will deal worse with you than with them.” Genesis 19:9. The whole city was given over to sexual perversion. Isaiah compares Judah to Sodom. Isaiah 3:8-9 “their tongue and their doings are against the Lord, to provoke the eyes of his glory.” 3:9 the show of their countenance to witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hid it not. Woe unto their soul! For they have rewarded evil unto themselves. Jesus said, remember Lots wife.” 17:32. One angel took hold of Lots hand and his wife’s hand and the other angel took hold of the hands of the two daughters and began to leave them out of the city. But Lot’s wife broke loose from the angel turned back toward Sodom and as a result was destroyed. This was an act of rebellion against the Lord. God is saying to his people to escape from this polluted and immoral world that we live in. but many are like Lot’s wife who rebel against the Lord. People are not ashamed of their sin, they openly declare and display their sin as stated by Isaiah 3:9 The apostle Paul describes these kind of people in Romans 1:24-32. In these verses Paul mentions uncleanness, sinful lust, changing the truth into a lie, vile or dishonorable affections, homosexuality, the reprobate minds fornication, haters of God, taking pleasures in those who sin openly.

All of these things are at work in our society today. These we are are the sins that bring the judgment of God upon those who commit such sin. The message of the angel gave to Lots was “Escape for thy life”, look not behind thee. Genesis 19:17. And again Jesus said “Remember Lots wife”. Luke 17:32.

“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:36

Bye for Now. “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads, for your redemption draweth nigh.. (Luke 21:28)

May 2016

Greetings once again to all our brothers and sisters in the Lord. I pray that all is well with you and yours. God is still on his throne and he rules in heaven and in Earth. Jesus told us that we should pray, "Thy kingdom come thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven." We must be willing to do our part and bringing this to pass. Our nation is not healthy spiritually speaking. We are close to electing a new president for our nation and many people including many who call themselves Christians, have no understanding when it comes to voting. We have people who vote for those who keep taking away our rights as Citizens, including our religious rights.

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked bareth rule the people mourned." (Proverbs 29:20) right now God's people are or should be in morning." The wicked are ruling in our nation at present. We can change this if God's people who are called by his name will go to the polls and vote for righteousness rather than voting for those who live and condone sinful living. Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. (Proverbs 14:34).

The word reproach means it's a disgrace. As a nation we have been disgraced in the eyes of other nations because of sin. Woe unto them that call evil good and good evil; that put Darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet and Sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20).

Are Supreme Court has proclaimed evil as something good. Much of our nation now considered evil as something good. As a nation we are on a downhill spiral. If the churches of America we'll get right with God and begin to support what God supports we could change this nation. We need a holy ghost Revival in our churches, a sin killing Revival. “the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open to the prayers; but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. (1 Peter 3:12). Many people including those who call themselves Christians do not know right from wrong. The reason they don't know right from wrong is because they are not exercised in the use of scripture.

Strong meat belong to them that are of full age even those who by reason of use have their senses exercise to discern both Good and Evil (Hebrews 5:14). Jesus taught us how to live but few people are trained to live according to the gospel. I am appalled by those who claim to be Christians and yet vote Democrat. The Democrat platform is a Godless platform. Vote Democrat candidates running for president are socialist and Progressive. Progressive is just another word for socialist or communist. They condone and support all the things that God condemns. On the Republican side we had a man who curses used foul language encourage violence is immoral having had several wives and basically supports everything that the Liberals support. And yet we have mini "so-called" Christians including many ministers who are voting for him. There is only one candidate worthy of our vote and yet the liberal media is doing its best to crucify him. By the way his name in Spanish is "cross".

America is on the threshold of experience in the Judgment of God. We must fervently pray for Revival in our churches one that will truly change the hearts Minds and Souls of people. Judgment must begin in the house Judgment must begin in the house of the Lord. 1st Peter 4:17 " the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (James 5:16).

Bye for now and God bless you and doing what is right in the eyes of the Lord.

"Showing Himself To Be Alive"

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!. I trust that all is well with you and yours.

March is passed and time is marching right on as we enter the month of April. We just celebrated Resurrection Sunday and it was a great celebration. Jesus is alive and doing well! Jesus Christ is doing many wonderful things here in these last days! In spite of much turmoil in the world many people are turning to Jesus Christ all across the world. All over the Middle East people are turning to the Lord by the hundreds. Praise God!

I want to share a story that came to us from Brother Jay Kumar Babu in southern India, in the state of Andra Pradesh. It is as follows: There was a prominent Hindu man in India who became sick. He prayed and fasted for his Hindu God to heal him, but to no avail. He spent much money on medicine and magical cures, but grew worse. He was then admitted to the hospital and was close to death. One day while in the hospital the man received a visit from a man who was dressed in white. The man came over to his bed and said unto him, I am here to heal you. So he touched the man and healed him. When it was found out that he was suddenly healed they asked the man how is it you are now healed? And the man answered and said, “a man dressed all in white came in my home and healed me. And they asked, who was this man who came in and healed you? And he said, it was Jesus. And they said, “How do you know it was Jesus, and he replied I know it was Jesus because I saw the nail scars in his hands. He said to his family and friends, Go and find me the nearest minister who can come to my house and tell me about Jesus. It just so happen to be Bro. Babu was the closest minister and he had the privilege to go and tell him about Jesus. Before this happened is was forbidden for a Christian to enter the house of a Hindu. Thank God for great things he is doing. Jesus is showing himself to be alive to many people.

As two men walked along on the road to Emmaus and as the talked Jesus came and began to walk alongside them. (Luke 24:17-19). “Jesus asked, what manner of communications are those that ye have one to another, as you walk, and are sad? And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and has not known the things which are come to pass there in these days? And he said unto them, what things? And they said unto him, concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people;” Jesus is once again showing himself to be alive and proving himself to God and man by mighty deeds, words and miracles of all kinds.

Just as the early church flourished and multiplied while under great persecution, now in these last days the church is once again spreading like wildfire and multiplying around the world. I believe this is another sign of the soom coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. And unto that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. (Hebrews 9:28). When Christ, who is our life shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. (Colossians 3:4) And we the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive the crown of glory that faded not a way. (1 Peter 5:4)

What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see!!

Bye for now, god bless you and yours. Praise God he’s coming soon.

Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised! Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I trust that all is well with you and yours.

Life is worth living because of Jesus Christ and what he has done for us. Every morning I thank God for the meaning and purpose of life. Material things cannot bring peace and joy in my life. We also have a great hope in Christ Jesus. That old devil the enemy of our soul wants to steal from us, kill us and destroy us, but Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly. (John 10:10). Jesus came to free us from sin and the power of it. “…For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the work of the devil. (1 John 3:8). We all have a sin problem. “For we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”(Romans 3:23) “All we are like sheep who have gone astray, we have turned everyone to our own way, and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” (Isaiah 53:6) It is strange that the media and those who work for the media try to dig up bad things about those they dislike, such as politicians who are running for office. The fact is, there is none righteous no, not one. (Romans 3:10). Even those who report the evil of others are evil themselves. There was only one perfect man and the world crucified Him. Of course this was none other than Jesus Christ, Gods only son who became the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world. We can only be righteous through Jesus Christ. We must accept the fact that Jesus died for our sins, he took our place. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23). How do we live a life of righteousness? By the power that God imparts to us through the Holy Spirit. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8). Now grace is there for us but we can only access that grace by faith. The moment we truly believe in Jesus Christ and accept what he has done for us then that grace of God is released to us. The Apostle John said that Jesus Christ was in the world, and the world was made by him, and yet the world knew him not, “He came unto his own and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even them that believe on His name.(John 1:10-12).

There is a great gain in believing, but there is great loss in not believing. I have heard some people say, that a man or woman is a good person, but they just don’t believe in the Lord! WRONG!! There is no good person that doesn’t believe. God considers unbelief to be an evil thing. “Take heed, brethren, lest there be any of you an evil heart of unbelief….” (Hebrews 3:12) There is a spirit of unbelief and it comes from the devil and enemy of our soul.

God wants to impart to you a spirit of belief. What is the source of belief? It is God’s word. “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17) This is why the devil and his followers hate God’s Word. This is why they have taken it out of our schools and our government. We must be steadfast in preaching Gods Word, it produces faith in God. “Let us labor (desire) therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man after the same example of unbelief. For the Word of God is quick(life giving) and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the Joints and marrow, and is a discern-er (able to judge) of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:11-12).

Bye for now and God bless you in believing God’s word. And in believing in God’s son who is the living word of God. (John 1:1)

Greetings once again in the name of our Lord and Savior and soon coming King! I pray all is well with you and yours.

The Lord is truly a great King and deserves our best. (Malachi 1:14). Jesus is the Lord of our lives. He brought us! He redeemed us! Jesus died for us! He removed the sentence of death from us! We belong to Him! When the apostles spoke of Jesus they introduced themselves as the servants of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the Greek that word servant means “slave”. Slaves do not do what they want to do, but they do what their master tell them to do. Jesus said, “And why call me Lord, Lord, and do not the things I say?” (Luke 4:6). If we are the Lords servants we should obey Him. The Apostle Paul considered himself to be a prisoner of Jesus Christ. Paul had orders from the chief priest to go to Damascus and arrest anyone who was a follower of Jesus Christ. But while on His way to Damascus Jesus showed up in a blinding light and arrested Saul of Tarsus, who became the Apostle Paul. In so many words Jesus said to Saul, from now on you will work for me and you will do what I tell you to do. Paul told the Ephesians and the Gentile believers that he was the prisoner of Jesus Christ for the sake of preaching the message of God’s grace to them. (Eph 3:1. 4:1). In 2 Timothy 1:18: Paul stated: Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner of Jesus Christ. We must echo the words of Jesus when he prayed Father, not my will but thy will be done. We must be about our Fathers business.

Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. (Matt 7:21). Gods will for us is to live according to the Gospel and to fulfill the great commission that Christ gave to the Church. (Matt 28:18-20).

Jesus our great King is coming back for those who are carrying out this great commission. “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” (1 Corinth 15:58).

May the Lord grant unto you health,. Strength, joy, happiness, and peace as you fulfill God’s will for your life.

Bye for now and God richly bless you and yours

“The Prescription for a Good and Successful Year”

January, 2016

Greetings once again to all in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Happy New Year to you and Yours!

Most people desire to be successful. Yet there are differences of opinion as to what is termed successful. True success must be based upon what God considers success. Some people think that getting great riches is success. Others think of popularity, processions, or pleasures as being success.

God instructed Joshua as he was taking the place of Moses as the leader of Isreal. God said, “Only be thou strong and very courageous, thou mayest observe to do according to the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper wither soever thou goest. (8) This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (Joshua 1:7-8). Note these things in these two verses. (1) Be strong, (2) Be Courageous, (3) Do all that is commanded, not just some of it or parts of it. (4) Be steadfast, turn not to the left or the right. (5) Meditate, think on these things day and night. These 5 things are all important. Time and space does not allow me to say all that could be said about these two verses. It would be more like a book than a brief pastors pen.

The children of Israel murmured against Moses at “Marah”. The water was bitter, the Lord showed Moses a tree and Moses took the tree and cast it into the water and the water was healed. This tree was a representative of the cross of Christ. When Jesus Christ comes into a heart it takes away the bitterness. (Exodus 15:23-25). In Ex. 15:26 God said, “If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments, and keep His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee “Johovah Rapha”

God made great promises to Abraham, saying unto him, I am your shield, (your protector), and your exceeding great reward. (Gen. 15:1) Paul said in Romans 4:13-16 that this promise of Abraham was by faith, All who have the faith of Abraham and all who walk in the steps of Abraham are heirs to the promises of Abraham. Abraham believed in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This was played out on mount Moriah when Abraham was tested by God. Abraham was willing to off Isaac as a sacrifice. (Gen 22:8). Abraham believed God would raise Isaac from the dead if he was offered as a sacrifice, which was a figure of Christ and His death and resurrection. (Heb. 11:19) Abraham was a blessed man, he had a beautiful wife (Sarah) , he had much land, cattle, sheep, camels, Silver and Gold and many sons and daughters. (Gensis 13:2) but in all this, Abraham sought that which this earth couldn’t offer. He looked for a city which hath foundations whose builder and maker was God. Moses esteemed the riches of Christ greater that all the treasures of Egypt. (Heb 11:25) Jesus said, “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon this earth where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through and steal. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (Matt 6:19-21)

Believing in Jesus and making Him Lord of our lives and committing our lives to His service is the source of our true riches

God bless you all with a Happy and Prosperous New Year!
